Auction & Dealer

Transport for auction and dealer purchases

Buying a car at auction or from an out-of-state dealer is easy; getting it home is where people get stuck. Auctions charge storage after a few days, release windows are strict, and many auction vehicles don't run. We arrange pickup from every major auction house and from dealerships nationwide, handle the gate-pass and release details, and assign a winch-equipped carrier when the vehicle is inoperable.

Auctions we pick up from

  • Manheim (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and nationwide)
  • Copart and IAA salvage auctions
  • ADESA and other dealer auctions
  • Public auctions, police and municipal auctions, and estate sales
  • Online auctions: Bring a Trailer, Cars & Bids, eBay Motors, and collector-car auctions

What we need from you

  • Auction name, location, and lot or stock number
  • Buyer number or gate pass / release information
  • Whether the vehicle runs, rolls, steers, and brakes
  • Any damage or missing parts (keys, wheels, battery)
  • Last free storage day
  • Delivery address and recipient

Non-running and salvage vehicles

Copart and IAA vehicles are often inoperable. A winch-equipped carrier can load a vehicle that rolls, steers, and brakes. If it doesn't roll (locked wheels, missing wheels, severe damage) tell us up front and we'll assign a carrier with the right equipment, such as a flatbed with a sled or forklift loading at the yard. Inoperable vehicles carry a surcharge that is included in your quote.

Dealer-to-customer and dealer-to-dealer

We work with dealerships across New Jersey, from the Route 1 corridor in Edison and Princeton to Route 37 in Toms River and Route 70 in Cherry Hill, moving sold vehicles to out-of-state buyers and bringing in trades and purchases from other stores. Dealers get volume pricing, a single point of contact, and documentation for every move; call the nearest office to set up an account.

Timing

Most auctions allow 3 to 7 free days before storage fees start. Book transport as soon as you win, and give us the last free day so the dispatcher can prioritize accordingly. Auction yards have their own hours and loading procedures; our carriers know them.

FAQ

Auction Car Transport questions

Can you pick up from Copart or IAA?

Yes. Give us the lot number, your buyer number, and the gate pass or release details. Let us know if the vehicle runs so we assign the right equipment.

What if the car doesn't run?

A winch-equipped carrier can load any vehicle that rolls, steers, and brakes. For vehicles that don't roll, tell us up front and we'll arrange forklift or sled loading.

How quickly can you get to the auction?

Usually within 1 to 3 business days of booking. Tell us the last free storage day so we prioritize it.

Do you offer dealer accounts?

Yes. Dealerships in New Jersey get volume pricing, one dispatcher, and consolidated invoicing. Call the nearest office.
